Aging as an Initiatory Journey
Aging is not simply the passage of years — it is an initiation. To step into Elderhood is to walk willingly into the mystery, to be stripped of old identities, and to discover a deeper source of wisdom that cannot be taken away.
In this circle, we will explore what it means to grow into an Elder — not in name only, but as a living initiation. Through ritual, dialogue, meditation, and reflection, we will meet the fears that arise about aging and aloneness, and learn to transform them into compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude.
Together, we will create a sacred space where grief and grace, shadow and light, endings and beginnings can all be held. This is an invitation to step onto the path of Elderhood with courage, tenderness, and openness.
